Unfortunately, you cannot train a dragon in Hogwarts Legacy. Although Hogwarts Legacy is an open world experience, training a dragon is not part of it. You cannot feed, capture, raise, or even ride a dragon at any point in the game.

Before the game launched, there was some hope that this kind of training might be possible. While there are creatures that can be captured or kept, dragons are not one of them. The good news is that there are plenty of other options when it comes to tracking down and interacting with beasts in the game.

Not only will you not be able to train a dragon, but the reality is also you will hardly encounter dragons at all. There are a handful of side quests where dragons are present, and one of them involves an epic boss fight. Dragons even play a big part of the initial cut scenes in the game. Despite this, dragons do not play an important role and are not available to be trained.

That’s it for our guide. Disappointed that training a dragon is not possible in Hogwarts Legacy? Let us know how you feel in the comment section below.
