Mahogany Seed in Stardew Valley

Mahogany seeds, unsurprisingly, grow into Mahogany Trees. These are essential for lategame stuff, since everything uses what you can harvest from a Mahogany tree.

How to find Mahogany Seed in Stardew Valley

Mahogany Seeds are rare drops from Large Stumps or Large Logs; about a 10% chance. When you destroy these objects, you might get a Mahogany Tree.

In addition, monsters in the Secret Woods have a 10% chance to drop a Mahogany seed. Slimes, in particular, are more likely to pop into a mahogany seed, which can be a nice way to farm them!

Finally, and unsurprisingly, mahogany trees might drop the seeds to let you continuously farm Hardwood.

Uses

Mahogany seeds, with enough care, grow into Mahogany Trees. So, you can pretty easily make a farm at home so you can farm these end-game wood slots. Mahogany trees produce sap with a Tapper and Hardwood with an axe. Sap is good for selling or making some recipes, and Hardwood is critical for endgame upgrades, including stuff like your Stable!

Managing your Hardwood seeds will be exactly what you need to make your late-game experience move like water. And, it’s important so you can fix the boat and go across the water! Whether you want teleportation, furniture, or just progressing the game, these seeds will make it easy!
