How to Find Ectoplasm in Stardew Valley
The Ghost enemy drops Ectoplasm, pretty rarely, in floors 51-79. So far, that is the only thing that is confirmed; if you know about any specific ghost enemies, especially in the new content, that also drops ectoplasm, please leave a comment!
However, after a few days of grinding the ghosts on floors 51-79, we had the ectoplasm we needed. So if you’re wanting a good, consistent way to get these items, then you’ve gotta head to floor 50 to floor 80.
Uses for Ectoplasm
Right now, the only significant use of Ectoplasm is to give them to the Wizard. If the Wizard hasn’t given you a quest to gather Ectoplasm, then you’re probably not going to have the best time gathering it. It’s a Special order from the Wizard, so make sure you can set aside some time to kill some ghosts. Otherwise, you might run out of time on it!
Because of that, you might want to make sure you can handle floor 51 (and that you’ve already gotten there!) before looking for this special order. However, once you can handle this, and the Wizard starts handing it out, then you’re going to want to farm the heck out of it!
