Red Dead Redemption 2 Polite Society Valentine Style Walkthrough
The quest begins at the campsite. Most of the gang has already headed into town, and you cajole Uncle into heading there too to see what you can learn. Against your best judgment, three of the girls talk their way into coming too. After you load up the wagon and head toward town, you’ll come across a broken down wagon where you’ll have a chance to help the guy out. You can corral his loose horse or just go about your way. Either way, you’ll make it to Valentine shortly afterward.
Valentine
When you arrive in Valentine, the ladies head to the saloon while you and Uncle go to the general store. You are free to peruse the shop as you see fit. There are canned goods, cheeses, and even firearms. If you head up to the counter you will find a catalog with all of the shop’s offerings available to purchase. When you’re done, meet Uncle on the front porch of the general store.
After sharing a drink with Uncle, Mary Beth comes back and tells you about a train full of reach people that is passing through soon on their way to Brazil. She says the train will be stopping that night at nearby Scarlet Meadows; Uncle has heard of the spot. Before you can discuss it further you notice one of the other girls, Tilly, being accosted across the street.
Saving The Girls
When you approach, it is apparent from the conversation that the man knows Tilly. When you call him out he tries to get her to come with him, but ultimately leaves before you have to get violent. I’m guessing we’ll see him again. After you send her back to Uncle, head inside the hotel to find Karen. You’ll find her upstairs. Turn left at the landing and she’ll be behind the second door on the right. Kick the door in and punch out the guy that is hassling her. As you sweep her out of there, Karen tells you the man was bragging about the bank and how it has a lot of cash due to the livestock trade. As the five of you are about to head back to camp, a man on a horse shouts that he recognizes you from Blackwater a few weeks back. He takes off on his horse, and you follow.
The Man from Blackwater
Follow the man on horseback. He will eventually lose control of his horse at a cliff and go over the side. When you approach he will barely be hanging on, begging for help. You can question him or kill him, either way completes the mission. If you save the man he will give you a steel ink pen in gratitude and leave with an understanding that he never saw you in Blackwater.
