There are arguably far too many quests in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous. From character specific to story to everything in between, you’re going to have a heck of a time completing them all! Treading on Corpses is a fairly complex quest with a ton of moving parts. In order to complete it, you’ll need to have an open mind, and a lot of free time! Treading on Corpses Quest in Wrath of the Righteous
Before you complete Treading on Corpses, you are going to have to complete the quest “The Art of Making Friends.” That quest will allow you to ally yourself with the Storyteller and Shamira, and make Treading on Corpses much easier since you can secure an audience with Nocticula. In addition, this quest will close down Alushinyrra and the Abyss; complete all of the quests there before you finish this quest.
Then, when you speak with Areelu and Nocticula, you’re going to want to cooperate with Areelu; this’ll unlock a secret ending that you’re going to want to see. For the Lexicon of Paradox, you’re going to want to go to the House of Silken Shadows. Keep the parts of the lexicon if you want the secret ending. With the two parts, you can attempt to decipher it. Use Skill buffing items and spells for Knowledge, Lore, and Perception to get the best possible chance.
If you work with Nocticula, give her the Lexicon piece. Working with her will give Nexus some backup during the fight.
Colyphyr Mines is represented descriptively; try to check your skills and make sure you have a wide array of movement (like Acrobatics and Mobility) as well as some magical skills to get through safely.
Finally, the battle with Baphomet! Use Midnight Bolt to gain a New Nahyndrian Crystal. Otherwise, defend yourself against Demonlords with Protection against Evil/Chaos and all of the damage buffs you can get!
