Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the newest release from developer Owlcat Games. As you progress through the game and continue to build out your party, you’ll come across tons of unique items with interesting properties. But many of these items can be a little confusing to actually use as their usefulness isn’t immediately apparent. So we’ve put together a quick guide for the Book of Dreams, so you know exactly how it works and don’t accidentally sell it.
How to Acquire the Book of Dreams
In order to find the Book of Dreams you’ll need to make your way over to the Lost Chapel. An area which can be accessed via the World Map. This area is full of monsters and can be quite tricky if you aren’t prepared to fight a lot of enemies. So make sure to prepare before entering this area. Eventually, after defeating the enemies and looting all that you can see you should eventually find the Book of Dreams. Though its use and abilities are pretty hard to figure out right away.
What does the Book of Dreams do?
The Book of Dreams is a strange item because it isn’t entirely clear what it does. It’s description states that only a part of its secrets are revealed to you. This is a hint to the fact that, as you progress through your journey, the book’s effects will become stronger. But even this is a little bit unclear really. When you first get the book it provides summons with some useful abilities. The first being Longstrider and the other being the Good Hope spell.
The way in which the book becomes stronger is by collecting the other pages that are currently missing from it. Each page presumably gives you a buff to your summons or to yourself in some capacity. So while you’re on your journey, be sure to keep an eye out for any of the missing pages. And be extra careful that you don’t accidentally sell the book, as it could prove to be pretty useful by the end of the game.
