Atlas How to Place Doors Guide
Once you have claimed your territory in Atlas, you can build your video game home away from home. To put a door on the home, you’ll need to use a straight-forward toggle mechanic to place them.
First, you will need to have the floor of your home down. To build your door, first build a wall but don’t place it. Hover the wall section over the spot you would like the door to go, and press T. By pressing T, you will cycle through the different options of wall type. One of those options is a door frame. When you cycle to the door frame, place it where you would like the door. Boom. Done.
You can typically only build a home on territory you’ve claimed. You can’t claim or build in Freeports or lawless zones, but outside of that there is ample territory to build on. There is a huge variety of materials that a home can be crafted from. To start, you will likely get by just with the most basic features. As you develop your house, you will flesh it out with walls, floors, doors, and windows.
