This quest is short and has more sneaking that stabbing, but it’s always nice to know what you are about to get yourself into. The military has been a real pain in the ass lately. They’ve captured some mercenaries who are of interest to her at the fortified warehouse. She needs you to free them.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey All Bonds will Break Walkthrough
All Bonds will Break is one of three quests given to you by Diona once you complete the I, Diona quest. Your new lady friend wants you to meet up with her contact at the harbor, who is in need of help. Head to the Skandeia Harbor, where your contact (the harbormaster) will be waiting for you on a roof overlooking the water. Glaukos the harbormaster is skeptical that you are only helping Diona in exchange for information, but eventually explains what he needs. The military has been causing problems lately, locking up three mercenaries Diona has interest in. Glaukos says that the High Priestess has become paranoid and has begun locking up anyone she has suspicion of.
Phoinikeos Customs Warehouse
The fortified warehouse is only 100 meters from your starting position. You can scout it with your favorite bird buddy as soon as the conversation with Glaukos ends. The three prisoners are in three different cages spread out through the warehouse. You’ll need to take out a few guards, but many of them you can simply maneuver around. It’s not a bad idea to take out the two guards on the wall over the front door, but even that isn’t totally necessary if you’re careful. You can even walk in through the front door undetected if you pay attention to where the guards are patrolling.
Prisoner #1 – South Side Near the Water
The closest mercenary is to your right if you walk in through the front door. It’s also the first cage you’ll come to if you approach by water. There is one stationary guard near the cage that you’ll have to take out before you can release this guy. There are patrolling guards that will walk by this cage, so if you care about being detected you can toss the guard’s body into the harbor before you continue on. Open the cage and the mercenary will see himself out.
Prisoner #2 – Center Compound
Despite this guy being held in the dead center of the compound, he’s easy to get to especially if you’ve already killed the guy standing near Prisoner #1. From Prisoner #1’s cage, it is a straight shot to Prisoner #2. Helpfully, from this direction the guard will have his back to you as you approach. Also helpful? He’s standing near bushes you can drag his body into if you want to stay out of sight. Release this guy from his bonds and then head east away from the main gate and towards the warehouse building to free Prisoner #3.
Prisoner #3 – Inside the Warehouse
The final prisoner is probably the trickiest. He doesn’t have a dedicated guard, but his cage is right on the path where the guards will patrol. If you care about avoiding detection and don’t want a fight, you can free this guide without a battle if your careful. This is especially true if you approach from the West after taking out the guard watching Prisoner #2. Unlock the cage and let this bald, almost naked mercenary scurry off to freedom. The three men will leave on their own; simply return to the harbormaster.
Return to Glaukos for your Reward
Make the short jaunt back over to the harbor and talk to Glaukos. You’ll need to do this to complete the mission once the prisoners are freed. If you loot the chest in the tent near the main gate you will get a dagger. In our game we got the Skinning Knife which is #4 on our list of Top Ten Best Daggers in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
