The Hot Zone
At the beginning of each match, you will see a blue circle somewhere on the map. Go to that spot and you will discover increased loot drops within the blue circle. The area is rich with loot, second only to the Supply Ship which we will discuss below. It will take some rummaging, but there is a lot of good stuff in the Hot Zone. Be prepared for some competition though; you won’t be the only person there looking for goodies.
The Supply Ship
The supply ship travels across the map starting at the beginning of the game. In fact, you can land on it while it is in transit. You’ll need perfect landing skills to do this with any consistency, though.
Expect a lot of competition at the Supply Ship, as it is the stuff to the gills with tons of loot. As soon as you land, get ready to rumble. While it’s possible to land on the Supply Ship while it is moving, your best bet is to hit it as soon as it lands.
More lootย will drop when the ship hits the ground, but the other vultures will be ready to start picking the bones just as quickly as you are.
Supply Drops
Finally, you have the opportunity to take advantage of Supply Drops. They are aptly named; the supply drops are simply bundles of supplies that drop in from the sky. These drops are valuable, but the loot is so much better at the Supply Ship and the Hot Zone that it’s possible you’ll find some drops that aren’t contested. They a great option if you are really struggling for equipment.
