Despite the recent successes you’ve had, the offensive push into Erusea has hit a rough patch due to the massacre of the satellites a few missions ago. Radio communications are still patchy, and mission command has been silent since you completed Mission 16. Ace Combat 7 Mission 17 Walkthrough
Tyler Island is an appealing target for two reasons: (1) its proximity to the space elevator and (2) its current role as a supply depot for hostile Arsenal Birds. In this mission, you’ll be making the long flight to Tyler Island providing air support when you get there.
Surprise! Things aren’t great at Tyler Island when you arrive. Your landing boats are under heavy fire from hostiles, and it’s time you get to blappin’! Unfortunately, the battle for Tyler Island is not going well, and your friendlies are already retreating. You’ll jump into the mission to provide air cover for retreating friendlies by shooting all the things. Keep in mind that because of the comms issues, you will still need to fly within the vicinity of unidentified air and ground units in order to ID them. Follow the prompts on comms, and help allies in need. Once you’ve cleared an escape path, the ground forces will let you know.
Operation Feeding Time
Soon, you will hear radio chatter from the faction of Erusian conservatives about Operation Feeding Time. You learn this is a bombing campaign that is likely to wipe out military and civilian targets alike. It’s your job to take them out before they can attack. Clear them quickly, as a second wave of bombers is coming. Once you kill the bombers, you’ll hear your old friend the Scrap Queen break into comms – and she needs your help. She is with a group of refugees, but they are pinned down by hostiles.
Thanks to the smoke, you now have IDs for the hostile tanks. Make short work of them to get the intel Scrap Queen has for you. According to her, supply ships will be launching from Tyler Island imminently in order to restock the Arsenal Birds. Right on queue, two of them launch.
You will have two minutes to take down both supply ships. They are sturdy enough that it may take more than one direct hit. What’s more, they will attempt to escape through a storm cloud so prepare for lightning to fry your instruments. And move quickly, as there are new bogeys that will target your ground forces. Once you kill both supply ships, the mission comes to an end.
