Red Dead Redemption 2 A Quiet Time In-Depth Walkthrough
A Quiet Time starts with just that, a quiet moment where you discuss the future with Dutch. Before you can get a straight answer on when it will be time to head West, Lenny comes riding up in a panic. Micah is accused of murder and is in the custody of the sheriff in Strawberry. Lenny barely escaped with his life, but things look dire for ol’ Micah. After much cajoling, Dutch finally gets you to agree to rescue Micah. But not yet! Lenny looks like he’s been through hell, and Dutch tells you to take him into Valentine to get a drink and relax. We’ll deal with Micah later, apparently. Hop on your trusty steed and head into Valentine. On the way, Lenny will explain that Micah got drunk in the dry town of Strawberry and shot a guy without provocation.
Get a Drink in Valentine
When you get to the saloon, sidle up to the bar. Once you convince the barkeep you won’t be any trouble, have a drink with Lenny. Then have a whole bunch. What follows is a bizarre dreamlike state where you’ll have multiple shots with Lenny, only for him to wander off mid conversation. The first time he wanders off you will find him upstairs. After more drinking and conversation, you’ll notice he’s gone again. Head downstairs and you’ll find him on top of the bar arguing with two men. Approaching the men goes from a potential fight into a montage of drunken dancing.
You come to again outside of the saloon relieving yourself. When you come inside the saloon you are so drunk every person looks like Lenny! Eventually the real Lenny grabs you from behind, causing you to slap him. What ensues is a drunken slap fight between the two of you, followed by more beers. Your night ends after you beat up a guy outside of the bar, only for him to bring deputies to arrest you. After a brief drunken chase you take a tumble and wake up in jail. Woops.
Valentine Jail
You wake up in jail, unable to remember a thing. Lenny is in the cell next to you, also unclear as to what happened last night. The deputy informs you that drunken violence gets you a $10 fine. Lenny pays the man and you are both free to go. Outside, Lenny hurls again before noting at least they were distracted from Micah’s plight. Lenny leaves you to your thoughts as the mission ends.
