Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the newest release from developer Owlcat Games. An impressive CRPG in its own right, the game still has many secrets for its players to uncover. As well as many quests that can prove to be quite challenging for those unprepared. So we’ve put together a quick guide for the quest ‘Grudges to Settle’.
Beginning the Quest
Located in Alushinyrra, the first part of the quest has your party being tasked by Chivarro to defeat demons who have abducted Chivarro’s Succubi. This objective will lead you down to the Rotten Guttery which is found in the Lower City. Once you reach the city, enter the Bad Luck Tavern and proceed through it to reach the other side of the building. After you’ve exited the tavern follow the road north of your current position and stick to the left to eventually find the entrance to the Rotten Guttery.
Unfortunately, all isn’t as it seems and upon entering the Rotten Guttery, you’ll find a small group of mercenaries intent on killing you. Though they shouldn’t be too much of a problem, and after they’re defeated search for a wounded man in the corner of the room in the back. Exhaust Torlek’s dialogue, and you’ll soon discover that Chivarro has set you and your party up and attempted to kill you all.
The goal now is to serve up some payback against Chivarro and to do this you’ll have to find her first. Annoyingly, Chivarro has been ousted from the Ten Thousand Delights so finding her is the new objective. Talk to the successor of the tavern and you’ll find that they’re much nicer to deal with. They’ll also tell you where you can find Chivarro and this will involve retracing our steps.
Return to the entrance of the Rotten Guttery and look out to the nearby staircase opposite of the Guttery’s entrance. Head down these stairs and follow the path down to eventually find Chivarro and her small gang of lowlifes. Be prepared though since approaching her will begin the encounter. So make sure your party is fully healed and ready for battle. Chivarro is a pretty tough foe so be prepared for a tough battle. Once she is defeated the quest will be completed, and you won’t have to worry about any more backstabbing demons. Well, for now at least.
