Just Cause 4 Garland Kings New Star Walkthrough
When you begin the mission, you are directed to meet Garland King on the set of her current project. Hoping she has information for you, you are disappointed on arriving to learn she just wants to use you in her movie. It is dubious whether or not she can actually be of help to you, but she doesn’t give you much a chance to turn down a spot in her movie.
And your role? It turns out her stuntmen are only good for fight scenes. She wants someone to blow up a boat, but her current roster of stuntmen don’t have the skills. That’s where you come in. Garland King wants you to blow up the ship for real, and she’ll be filming the whole way. Luckily, you have a new grappling hook mod known as a Booster to help.
The Rustbucket
The rustbucket is a broken-down old ship. To complete the scene, you’ll need to drive the rustbucket into the side of the battleship down the river, causing it to sink and explode. Obviously, actually driving the boat would be way too dangerous. Your new grappling hook mod, the Booster, can help here. Activate the Booster and fire your grappling hook into the back of the rustbucket 3 or 4 times. When you activate the booster, each one fires off like a booster rocket which will power the boat in a straight line directly into the battleship.
Garland’s Getaway
Once you sink the ship, it’s time to run. Hope on top of Garland’s van and help her escape. She’ll ask that you drop her off at her car and help her fake her own death. Just drop her off at her car and then make a break for it in the van. Once you give Garland a chance to get away, wreck the van which marks the mission as complete.
