Just Cause 4 Mazmorra Rescue Walkthrough
When you arrive to La Mazmorra, it looks like little more than a small camp in the middle of the desert. Mira is convinced there is more underground, though. She points you to a console that will unlock the elevator down into the prison.
The Security Sequence
To begin, activate the console. This starts a 2-minute countdown. During that two minutes you will need to activate consoles at each of the three watchtowers surrounding La Mazmorra. If you are able to do so within two minutes the elevator will unlock.
Inside La Mazmorra
When you get inside La Mazmorra, it is clearly a prison. You’ll need to find the security station that contains a console with Lanza’s location stored in it. Thankfully, there is really only one way to travel through this facility so it’s easy to find. Beware of the sentry gun stationed on top of the security station. When you reach the station, activate the console and it will give you Lanza’s location. Follow the waypoint into a massive cellblock. Resistance from this point will be heavy.ย Lanza is being held in cellblock C4. When you find him he is reluctant to “leave his work” but ultimately follows you.
Lanza’s Escape
When you break out Lanza, the Black Hand announces over the loudspeaker that killing Lanza is the top priority. He must know something useful! Uncle Lanza seems to know where he’s going, so you can follow him and clear the path in front of him. Luckily, Lanza is fairly sturdy because he will take some fire.
To escape, you’ll need to make your way through some ventilation shafts. In two areas, you will have to find a breaker that controls the ventilation fans and destroy it. Only then is it safe to move through the ventilation fans.ย From here, you’ll need Lanza to hack into the system to open the doors to the elevator.
You’ll see a bar in the top, center of the screen that says Hacking System. You’ll need to hold the field and protect Lanza until the bar goes completely white before you can escape. Once the hacking is done, get in the elevator with Lanza and make yourย getaway.
When you get to the top, it’s time for a happy reunion with Mira. But there’s not much time for that, as you still need to take complete control of the prison. You send Lanza and Mira on theirย way, and at the end of the cut scene the mission comes to an end.
