Wired: Message on a Dead Guy
The quest begins when you discover a note attached to a dead man on the shore of a stream within Zeus’ Playground in Messara. Keep in mind you must be Level 28 to attempt this quest. The stream is near the summit of Mount Ida. The note implores you to find a contact, which becomes your next quest objective. Follow the quest marker, which will lead you to a small shepherd’s hut not far away.
The Shepherd’s Hut
The contact is in the shepherd’s hut along the road that takes you to Little Egypt. When you arrive, the contact will be surrounded by soldiers. You will need to dispatch all of the soldiers and rescue the contact to continue the mission.
The contact will explain that he is in the business of both smuggling and hiding people. He was on a contract attempting to help the dead man with the note escape the army and return home to his wife. The contact is concerned that if the soldiers knew about him, they must also know about the wife. The contact implores you to rescue her in her home in Kydonia. You can reach her home by traveling north along the road.

When you reach her home you will see three soldiers outside. Unfortunately, as you approach you will overhear them talking about how they weren’t supposed to kill them. It’s time for the poor lady to be avenged, so kill them all. The battle itself isn’t particularly difficult, as there are only three of them and you can get the drop on them easily. You can just run up on them and hack them to pieces, or climb to the roof of a nearby house and assassinate them before they know what hit them.
Once the soldiers are dispatched, enter the house and find the body of the woman. The contact will join you shortly after you find the body. He is clearly upset at how things have turned out, with both of the people he was tasked with helping getting killed. After you console him he will reward you with both Drachmae and the Dagger of Messara, which completes the mission.
