At long last, we’re getting through the end of Final Fantasy XIV’s Shadowbringers… Or, at least, what is currently shown in the Resistance questline. Who knows how much longer Square Enix plans on riding this out for? For now, this is it. The Lady of Blades FFXIV Guide
This is the last quest, gathered from Bajsaljen on the Bozjan Southern Front (x 14.6, y 29.6). This is a full side story quest, so we’re not getting our Main Story exclamation bubble to guide us; look for a blue bubble with a plus on it instead. This quest leads to the last critical engagement currently implemented in Shadowbringers, the Battle of Castrum Lacus Litore.
Prerequisites
If you don’t have it yet, that can be for two reasons.
- Picking Up the Trail: In order to get this specific questline, you need to have the Picking up the Trail quest all done. This is basically a speed bump to make sure you’re caught up on the resistance storyline. It takes place on the Southern Front, right next to Bajsaljen. However, you’re probably missing the other prerequisite…
- Resistance Rank: Ugh! If you want to do this quest, you need to be at Resistance Rank 10. To get there, you need to grind Mettle. You can do this by completing skirmishes, sidequests, and activities on the frontlines of Bozja. Try to find quests, because skirmishes give… Not much Mettle, really.
Once you’ve run through the Resistance Rank quests, and have completed Picking up the Trail (which required Rank 9), you’re ready to take on Castrum Lacus Litore. Good luck; you’re going to need it!
