You’ve gotten to the end of Shadowbringers, and it’s time to make some strong weapons. Prerequisite Quests for Where Eagles Nest FFXIV
In order to even begin Where Eagles Nest, you need to complete three entirely different quests. This is basically just preparation for battle, so you’re chatting with some allies… A ton of allies.
- The Bozja Incident: Wondering why you haven’t quite unlocked the Resistance storyline? This is probably why. Help Cid’s memory by going to Rhalgr’s Reach’s Plaza (x 11.8, y 11.9) after completing the Path to the Past quest. Then, start helping Cid out! You will have to be ready for combat… A lot of combat.
- Fire in the Forge: This quest gets you the resistance weapon. Get it from Gerolt in Gangros (6.3, 5.1), but only after you completed the Bozja Incident.
- Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty: Helping Alphinaud might as well be the subtitle of this game. After you complete the Story Quest “Moving Forwards”, you can help Alphinaud out at Eulmore (11.8, 11.7).
Once you have completed two side quests and one main story quest, you’re finally ready for Where Eagles Nest. Thankfully, this is just a short, talk-to-people quest to get some story down.
