Far Cry New Dawn Upgrade Prosperity Base Guide

There are a number of helpful items and buildings, but to upgrade them you will need ethanol which can be acquired by taking out raider outposts. These outposts will regenerate hostiles after some time passes. While outposts will get more guards over time, they will also get more ethanol.

Prosperity

Unlocks facility upgrades.

  • Level 2 requirement: save Thomas Rush following the storyline, any two specialists and improve any three buildings.
  • Level 3 requirement: save all the remaining specialists and improve six more buildings.

Workbench

By default, you can craft rank 1 weapons.

  • Level 1 requirement: 150 ethanol. Result: rank 2 weapon crafting.
  • Level 2 requirement: 500 ethanol. Result: rank 3 weapon crafting.
  • Level 3 requirement: 700 ethanol. Result: elite weapon crafting and upgrades for any weapons.

Infirmary

Used to increase the maximum health level of your character.

  • Base health: 100%.
  • Level 1 requirement: 150 ethanol. Result: 150% health.
  • Level 2 requirement: 500 ethanol. Result: 200% health.
  • Level 3 requirement: 700 ethanol. Result: 250% health.

Garage

Allows you to craft various transport. By default, you can craft first-rank transport.

  • Level 1 requirement: 100 ethanol. Allows you to craft rank 1 transport.
  • Level 2 requirement: 300 ethanol. Allows you to craft rank 2 transport.
  • Level 3 requirement: 450 ethanol. Allows you to craft elite transport.

Training Camp

Allows you to increase the health points and damage caused by Guns for Hire. All companions have rank 1 by default.

  • Level 1 requirement: 100 ethanol. Result: all mercenaries and companions get rank 2.
  • Level 2 requirement: 300 ethanol. Result: all mercenaries and companions get rank 3.
  • Level 3 requirement: 450 ethanol. Result: all mercenaries and companions get elite rank.

Explosive Lab

By default, you can make Molotov cocktails, smoke grenades and throwing knives.

  • Level 1 requirement: 100 ethanol. Result: crafting of dynamite and armor-piercing ammo.
  • Level 2 requirement: 300 ethanol. Result: crafting of remote-control explosives, incendiary ammo.
  • Level 3 requirement:450 ethanol. Result: crafting of proximity explosives, pipe bombs and explosive ammo.

Expeditions

Used to move around the map quickly and for expeditions where you can collect many components for crafting weapons and high-rank transport.

Following the completion of the first expedition, you can complete it again, but the level of difficulty will increase, as in the case of outposts.

  • Level 1 requirement: 75 ethanol. Unlocks expeditions and fast travel to liberated outposts.
  • Level 2 requirement: 125 ethanol. Unlocks fast travel.
  • Level 3 requirement: 250 ethanol. Unlocks air drop to liberated outposts, Prosperity and other locations.

Healing Garden

Used to increase the efficiency of the medkit. By default, basic medkit is applied.

  • Level 1 requirement: 75 ethanol. Medkits restore health for 5 seconds.
  • Level 2 requirement: 125 ethanol. Medkits restore health for 10 seconds after activation.
  • Level 3 requirement: 250 ethanol. Medkits restore health for 20 seconds after activation.

Cartography

Here, you can buy maps with intelligence information indicating the location of certain items. By default, you can buy maps with the location of duct tape and components.

  • Level 1 requirement: 75 ethanol. Unlocks maps with the location of gears, springs, prey, fish and birds.
  • Level 2 requirement: 125 ethanol. Unlocks maps with the location of treasure hunts, photographs position and music players.
  • Level 3 requirement: 250 ethanol. Unlocks maps with the location of predators and mutants.

If you buy the map with the location of photos, treasures and music players, be sure to zoom in when viewing it – markers will appear only in this case.
