Shotgun Farmers is an online multiplayer shooter set in a rural farm setting. What sets this game apart is that the crops you raise become the guns and ammunition you battle your neighbors with. The strategy is surprisingly deep; a missed shot that lands within reach your opponent will gift him the seed necessary to grown the exact gun you’re firing at him with! Growing and harvesting your weapons and ammo is the only way to arm yourself in Shotgun Farmers.
Thus far, reaction to Shotgun Farmers within the Steam community has been very positive. The straightforward but tactical shooter has high replay ability that never bores.
The game is the second effort of developer Wase Qazi. One of the great things about his work is transparency. Qazi constantly streams on his twitch channel while working on his games and is quick to interact with fans. While Shotgun Farmers has struggled to maintain a large player base, the small core of dedicated players and the addition of bots has increased the longevity of the game.
