If you’re going to really dive into adventuring in Elder Scrolls: Blades, you’ll want your weapons and armor to be in the best condition possible. Unfortunately, it’s possible to use and abuse your equipment to near-uselessness. To keep them working, you will need to repair your equipment regularly. Elder Scrolls: Blades – How to Repair Equipment Guide
When you use your equipment in Elder Scrolls: Blades, you can expect it to wear down over time. There are a number of times when your gear will degrade, including:
- Fighting in the Abyss
- Fighting in the Arena
- Completing Missions
As your equipment becomes more damaged, its effectiveness drops. Worn armor will deflect less damage, and busted weapons will inflict less damage as well. The difference between repaired and damaged equipment can be the difference between living or dying, so frequent repairs are worth it.
Getting your Items Repaired
You will not be able to repair items immediately in Elder Scrolls: Blades. FIrst, you will need to make some progress in the main story. Eventually, you will unlock the ability to build a smithy in your town. Build your smithy, and then you will have your friendly neighborhood blacksmith Lond to help you out.
To repair your items, speak with Lond at the smithy. He can do a number of things for you, including sell you items, craft items, and temper your equipment. He can also repair your damaged equipment. Select the Repair option from the far right of the screen and choose the item you would like to repair. You will have the option to repair one item or everything that is damaged all at once.
