How to Keep Cannibals Away in Sons of the Forest
In Sons of the Forest, there is a strategy available to you that can help keep cannibals away. Most types of cannibals are afraid of heads! Whether you carry one around or place it on a stick near your base, cannibals will typically run screaming when they cross paths with a decapitated head.
Keep in mind that testing of this tactic is ongoing. While we have had success using this to keep cannibals away, we do not yet know if it will be effective with every type. We’ll update this page as needed as we learn more.
Turning Enemies Off
Don’t want to constantly face swarms of zombies when playing Sons of the Forest? Want to focus on building the perfect base with your friend Kelvin? That’s an option! You can just start a custom game and set Enemies to Off. Keep in mind that this is only an option when you start a new game. You can’t set enemies Off in a current save.
