Partying is more about breaking the tight, confining restraints of time. It’s about tasting a delicious pie, listening to the birds sing, and embracing your surroundings with all of your senses.
Satyrs also party to honor the gods. Satyrs are said to have a god, Xenagos. Xenagos, unlike many gods, is known more for his mistakes. He was bitter at the gods, and was slain for his eccentricities and pranks. Thus, satyrs look to him more as a guide of not to do, while celebrating his revelrous spirit. Instead, they party to engage with all of the gods.
Satyrs, just like Xenagos, have little quirks that inform their decision-making process and annoy those of other races around them. They spend little to no time worrying about their tastes or behaviors, just accepting them.
