- Gale: There is not a lot of reasons to multiclass Gale if you maintain their original wizard level. In classic D&D, a level of fighter would give you armor proficiencies. That’s not how it works in BG3, as you only get the proficiencies if you take fighter as your first level.
- Astarion. Astarion can make for an excellent damage dealer when you take a few levels in Fighter or Ranger.
- Lae’zel. Lae’zel has one one truly great multiclassing option. Arguably, it is the best combo in the game. At Champion level 3 and Berserker Barbarian 9, you crit on a 19 and can give yourself advantage on every attack. This means you will get a critical hit roughly 20 percent of the time.
