Aesthetically the VivoBook is definitely riffing off the Macbook. So we’ve got a very simple and streamlined design here. With a great black and grey color combo to accompany that simplicity. This is a very professional looking laptop so if you want something that can be used for gaming and work, it’s great.
But if we take a closer look at what this laptop can do we might start to notice a couple of the issues. First, let’s talk about the good stuff! We’ve got a nice 15.6” 1080p screen here which is perfect for a game like Final Fantasy XIV. Plus we’ve got a good amount of memory at 8GB. So those two things are pretty good but then we start running into some potential issues. The CPU is an Intel i3 that is designed for notebooks and smaller laptops. These are suited to fairly casual computing tasks and though it should be able to run Final Fantasy XIV just fine, busier moments in-game might be a little laggy.
